Charles River Laboratories wanted a custom branded plush to show the soft side of its company. These plush items were to be shipped both domestically and internationally, which required navigating multiple customs and logistics requirements. In addition, the plush items would be given to children, which requires specific quality and compliance standards. PromoCentric was charged with designing a custom campaign look for the items and with managing all sourcing, compliance, customs and shipping logistics in a cost effective manner.
PromoCentric’s graphics design team created a repeatable, annual branded plush campaign, which communicates a fun and light emotion, appropriate for adults and children. The entire concept and design was sketched by PromoCentric, which was then duplicated into an actual physical, plush item. We ensured that all compliance standards surrounding environmental and children’s items were met for the client. Finally, PromoCentric navigated the complex customs laws surrounding plush items in various countries in Europe and enabled the products to pass through successfully and meet all tightly set delivery dates.
Charles River Laboratories has a repeatable, well received campaign, which is entirely outsourced from their marketing department. The company does not need to manage the logistics of international customers, fulfillment or shipping, nor does it need to be concerned about compliance issues. The graphic work for this campaign entirely follows the company’s brand standards and PromoCentric has been awarded the repeat business for this annual campaign.
